Building Memories, One Vacation at a Time

At the beginning of each year, I spend a lot of time reflecting on my business. I look back on the trips I planned for clients, prepare for upcoming journeys, and think about the feedback I hear when clients return home. So often, the words they use are “life-changing,” “amazing,” or “remarkable.” It always brings me back to the same realization. I help my clients “Build Memories, One Vacation at a Time”.

When you come home from a vacation, you unpack your bags and do the laundry, but what truly stays with you are the memories. Whether you traveled with a partner, a friend, or your family, those experiences become stories you will tell and retell for years.

My own family still laughs about the time we got hopelessly lost in Amsterdam trying to find a restaurant in Jordaan. This was before GPS on our phones, so we wandered for what felt like hours and never did find the restaurant. Honestly, if we had, we probably wouldn’t still be talking about it today. We also love to revisit the story of when Michael jumped on the Tube in London and it pulled away without the rest of us. Again, no phones. I don’t even remember exactly how we found him, but somehow we did. And Steve and I often reminisce about our very first river cruise, sailing from Paris to Normandy, where we met so many wonderful people who made that journey truly special.

I love hearing about my clients’ trips. Whether they cruised, went on safari, explored Europe, or rode the rails, their stories always make me smile. And when they send photos, I can see the joy in their faces. It’s a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do, and why I love helping people create memories that last a lifetime.
