Multi-Generational Travel
In my mind, there is nothing better than a multi-generational vacation. As you know, Rachel and I did our Mother/Daughter Trip last month and Steve and Michael are planning a trip for November. And I have been planning several fun multi-generational trips this year that I want to tell you about.
Alaska Cruises I have several families planning multi-generational Alaska cruises. I have a family cruising from Vancouver to Anchorage on Princess tomorrow and I have a few families planning their cruises for next summer. Alaska is a perfect destination for families as there is so much to see and do on land and the ships offer many activities for everyone in the family. And Alaska is much closer than going abroad.
Galapagos Yacht Charter For a 50th Anniversary celebration, I have clients taking their entire family on a Galapagos yacht charter next year. They will spend a few days in Quito and then proceed to San Cristobal Island to board their yacht, sailing around the islands for 4 wonderful nights. Since this is a charter, they will be the only ones on the yacht with a staff catering to their every need. What a wonderful way to make memories.
Scandinavian Graduation Celebration I am working with clients on a 3 week Scandinavian trip for next summer to celebrate a high school graduation. While we are still in the planning stages, their trip is scheduled to include hiking, biking, kayaking, fishing and sightseeing from Copenhagen to Stockholm. I can guarantee that during these 3 weeks, they will bond and treasure every moment with their son before he flies the nest.
I will never forget the times I was lucky enough to travel with my grandparents when I was little. They took me on many road trips and we even went to Florida a few times. I hope you are able to travel with the ones you love to spend that special time and build those priceless memories.
